This is an International Youth eMagazine created by a group of European schools. Bulgaria, France, Greece, Poland and U.K. are collaborating in this eTwinning project hoping to create a blog where pupils and teachers can communicate and have fun.
The purpose for creating an e-magazine is to provide a stimulus for our pupils to acquire new knowledge and practice critical thinking through cooperation and teamwork, development of creativity and opening to the wider society. Moreover, according to the communicative approach to language teaching, writing should reflect everyday life experiences and incorporate a wide range of literary genres so that learning becomes functional as it is gained in the real context.
Above all, learner independence and acquisition of life long learning skills are our main objective. By involving our students in this project we would like to provide them with the opportunity to take responsibility for their own learning and be committed to their education while getting prepared to play an active role in participatory democracy.
