Our Goals

In particular, our objectives are, in terms of :

1.      Knowledge: Our pupils to learn how to :

·         read and write texts belonging to different literary genres, in a variety of communicative situations

and to practice

·         reading and writing skills in English

·         using ICT

2.      Skills: The pupils should be able to

·         Read in an active way and write creatively

·         ‘Learn-how-to-learn’ working individually (eg decision making process, research on the internet, bibliography, questionnaires)

·         Process the data they gather

·         Make their own assumptions

·         Collaborate in a democratic way with the other team members

·         Develop their imagination and creativity

1.      Attitudes: The pupils to acquire a positive attitude towards:

·         Different cultures of children of the same age

·         The European dimension of education

·         Expanding their horizons

·         Reading extra-curricular texts/books

·         Their own self (boost their self-esteem) and encouragement of constructive criticism

·         Respect for copy rights
