Process


The course of our actions is planned as follows:

1st month-October 2010

  • Create the groups of pupils in each school
  • Bonding of the group members through experiential activities (icebreakers etc)

2nd month-November 2010
  • Brainstorming for the magazine’s name and the frequency of issues released
  • the participants learn to operate TwinSpace and acquire user names and passwords
  • publishing of information about their schools, cities and counties (1st Issue: About Our Schools)

An issue per month (until June 2011)
  • At the main stage students write their articles and submit them to the teachers, who check the works and approve of them. When ready articles are published. In particular:
1st step
-          Discussion over the choice of topics to be covered
-          Sub-groups with common topics
-          Plan of work
-          Assigning tasks
2nd step     
-          Presentation of the first draft
-          Discussion-editing

3rd step      
-          Presentation of the final form of the text
-          Error correction
-          the articles are available to participants of the project and their guests.
-          The authors of articles (from any issue) and editors (teachers) are entitled to comment all the articles.

  • To sum up the project (at the end of the school year) the special issue is released concerning personal experience of the project by participants.
  • The incorporation of the project in the educational process will take place by covering everyday school events and the cross-curricular approach, according to which subjects such as English and national languages, ICT and any other subjects relevant to the topics of each article will be involved in producing our stories.
